Rick has over 33 years of experience in the Investment and Financial Planning fields. He started his career at the Harris Bank, now BMO Harris, as a Municipal Bond Trader and Underwriter. For five years, he worked on Municipal Bond Syndicates and on the Trading Desk, evaluating municipal bonds for the bank’s clients. He achieved the title of Vice President while at the bank.
Mr. Dowdle spent the last 28 years in Annuity Distribution and Planning. He started at Life of Virginia in 1990 as a Regional Vice President Wholesaler and was quickly promoted to become a Divisional Sales Manager. In 1998, he joined Ohio National Financial Services as a Vice President-Divisional Sales Manager. He managed a team of Regional Vice Presidents that covered the Western half of the United States. He and the team engaged in assisting advisors with Financial Planning, focusing on Retirement Planning and creating income streams in retirement.
Richard joined Goodworth Wealth Management in October 2019
Rick’s new role at Goodworth Wealth Management will be multi-faceted. His primary role will be coordinating the Financial Planning component for all Goodworth Wealth Management clients. In addition, Rick will coordinate the educational and enrollment sessions for retirement plan clients.
Mr. Dowdle earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois and his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago. He holds the Series 6,7, 26 and 63 registrations with LPL Financial. He maintains an Insurance License in Illinois and has achieved the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designation. He resides in suburban Chicago with his wife and six children.
